The panda, also known as the giant panda or the
panda bear, is a bear species native to China.
Pandas are mostly herbivorous, with a diet consisting
almost entirely of bamboo and bamboo shoots.
A
panda's white markings help it camoflage into
snow, and it's black markings help it
camoflage into shade.
They used to be considered an
endangered species, but since 2021 have been graded as a
"vulnerable" species.
