The Raccoon

A Raccoon Closeup

The Raccoon is a mammal native to North America.
Raccoons are omnivorous, eating about 40% invertebrates, 33% plants, and 27% vertebrates.
The original habitats of the raccoon are mixed forests, but they extended their range to mountainous areas, coastal marshes, and urban areas.
Raccoons especially enjoy urban settings. Because they're so intelligent, raccoons can thrive in urban environments and figure out how to navigate human-made obstacles.
